Musical Differences
[LoopyLibrarian] It ranges from the nationalistic folk-rock of Runrig (the best excuse I can think of for enhancing Hadrian's Wall) through Bon Jovi (just don't start me on that one) to a load of CDs classified as Soft Rock by the plastically enhanced Cher and Michael Bolton. Road Trip USA Podcasts
[Gadling] It is summer and across the country families and couples and poor lonely dudes with a car are taking to the open roads. Travel to Europe (as I learned recently) is expensive and even though gas prices are ridiculously high, it is still far cheaper to hit the road with the kids than to fly over the pond.

Grilling Spam
[Steve's 2 Cents] Sometime ago, I mentioned one of our camping treats as grilled spam. While staying with good friends in Weikert, PA we did a lot of our breakfast cooking over an open fire.
