[Metroblogging Orange County] Sometime when you do things, you have a reason, other times you dont. Today was one of those days where I didnt have a reason.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Ballroom Dancing for Amputees] 01. N O W H E R E: Mu and I are on the Train heading to Roppongi to catch a movie when the train skids to a halt. Everyone continues what theyre doing as the man with the deep voice that sounds like Barry White soothes the passengers in typical monotone japanese. After waiting for 45 minute the train pulled away a we pulled away from the station all I could see was a pair of empty shoes placed neatly on the edge.
[The First Ring] The Vocal Opposition: USA Today doesnt let Rather and CBS off the hook, suggesting the network doubled their trouble by standing by the story long after it had proven to be false. Indeed, the man in the eye of storm, Dan Rather, continues to peddle the idea of the entire affair being ”fake but accurate”. Actually, Rather wont even admit that the documents are fake, but like Mary Mapes, that they exist in a no-mans land of credibility and therefore are unable to ever be proven accurate or inaccurate.
[SAOIRSE32] IOL Independent Monitoring Commission report ex...: The latest bulletin from the Independent Monitoring Commission, which reports to the Irish and British governments on the status of the paramilitary cease-fires, is likely to be published this Thursday.
[Oc.metblogs.com] Metroblogging Orange County: Everybody living in Orange County surfs, right? Orange County is home to Huntington Beach also known as "Surf City USA (sm)" (not to be confused with its rival up north, the "Original Surf City," Santa Cruz) and on any given day during the summer a migration of sorts occurs as surf boards on their way to the beach catch rides atop cars, in the backs of pick-ups, even towed behind bicycles. Almost everywhere you look in Orange County, you're likely to see something related to surfing or the surf industry.
[Tuckermax.com] TuckerMax.com: Once I get back, around June 20th, I have other priorities that are above writing new material for the site. I have to implement a whole new content management system for my other sites, I have to officially launch FesteringAss, I have to update all the other sites I run (yes, that means Hoo-ah and Tard Blog and SCAP), I need to set-up some new advertisers I have been promising space to, etc, etc.
[Rodneyolsen.blogspot.com] The Journey - Rodney Olsen's blog about life, faith and family: International Rugby Board chairman Syd Millar apparently looked as if he was tossing medals at the Aussies and didn't waste time with pleasantries like shaking hands. Aussie Prime Minister awarded the English with their medals and there have been dozens of letters writen to newspapers about his attitude. Talk radio around Australia has filled the airwaves with people saying what a sore loser our PM is.
[Problogger.net] Blog Tips - ProBlogger: Helping Bloggers Earn Money » Pro Blogging ...: In fact I think 2005 will see a number of bloggers earning $1 million and over. If they’re smart they will probably keep these figures to themselves - but it will happen - if not next year it will happen in 2006 for sure.
[Worldmagblog.com] World Magazine Blog: Nov. 18: Gay marriage's one-year anniversary: I do truly love this line; in one sentence, you've expressed the creeping, drone-like mentality of right wing Christians who speak in nothing but vacuous sound bytes and circuitous, self-serving illogic. Of course, it's also an evasive, though convenient, lie, because it rationalizes the general animus of hate that the evangelicals direct at the gay community while simultaenously allowing evangelicals the deceitful pretense that they are above hate, that they maintain some vicarious position - objectivity - to the expression of their hate.
