Of course, some of why I can't stand the city I grew up in is simply the result of time coming along and erasing much of what was memorable about the city in my youth.

http://www.lasvegasvegas.com [Lasvegasvegas.com] Las Vegas and Poker Blog: Ramblings Archives: The local brain trust, Police Chief Walt Meyers, says that allowing this despicable practice to become legal would "potentially" fuel an increase in police calls for, and I quote the Salem Statesman Journal.com article, "cheating, robberies, license violations, fighting, or illegal forms of gambling activities." Additionally, he warned," high-stakes poker games could attract robbers, professional cheaters and organized crime." I would like to help out the Chief so I did a little research and have to add the following to his list of people atttracted to high-stakes poker: professional poker players, ESPN, WPT, NBC, WSOP and Hollywood 'A'-list celebrities. Although the Chief did not indicate how he would handle the crime wave if they allow businesses to host poker games I wonder if he is considering bringing back the infamous ducking chair to determine if someone has become evil as a result of playing poker?

If you care about such things, the first cyclist was riding a Vision, which is a short wheelbase model, and it has underseat steering like our Ryan Duplex tandem. The second rider was on a Rotator, a somewhat rarer model with a long wheelbase and above-the-seat steering like my Easy Racer single recumbent.
