Camping in Tellico
[Blogging Riverbend Festival] I'm going to talk about my Memorial Day weekend because it was so great. First off it was Roxie's idea to go camping and I applaud her for such a wonderful idea. I decided that Merlaak should be the one to decide where we were going to stay because I had a rather busy week and he really wanted to try out his all-in-one super cooker. The super cooker is electric so we needed reservations at a campground with electricity (imagine that).
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Kitchencontraptions.com] Kitchen Contraptions.com - Kitchen Gadgets, Appliances, & Reviews ...: My good friend Mike Dupuis has fired up a new blog on all things cooking. Mike is the creator of MacGourmet - a recipe application for Mac OS X and knows a thing or two about cooking.
[Topendsports.com] my weblog: An early start and a long drive, we passed many interesting small back country USA towns. As we crossed the border into Nevada, there was a large hotel and casino settlement for those that cannot make it all the way to Las Vegas. For the rest of the way, the road was lined with billboards advertising all the many highlights of ‘Sin City’.
[Coyoteblog.com] Coyote Blog: How to Spot a Dictatorship: And this may sound corny, but every day that I read about the terrible things that are going on around the world, I thank my lucky stars that I was born here. I just thought it was ironic that most of the Coyote's original posts could be applied (some a little loosely) to the this great democracy.
[Godsmoon.blogspot.com] GodsMoon's Take on the World: After the above mentioned fiasco and the group had started we noticed that a lot of excited looking people were walking into the VIP section. We quickly discovered that they were letting people with out $5 passes into the VIP section so we got in line. Anne got in before me and I made it in shortly thereafter. Apparently they had plenty of extra seats so they were letting people in for free.
