Hot Stuff

[greaterfalls.com] Well, the mercury finally cracked the 75 degree mark in Great Falls yesterday. I know that’s probably very nice for most folks, but it makes me a little sad (in a way) to know that Summer has arrived.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

http://quippingqueen.blogspot.com [The Quipping Queen] HOW TO REJUVENATE YOUR RUMPUS ROOM: The world has become a pretty scary place of late. So rather than fret, empty-nesting boomers are seeking solace by spending their moolah on mansion makeovers, especially trogloditic tinkle-pantries, bygone basements and ramshackled rumpus rooms.

[Calamity Jon, Save Us!] Sketchbook: Justice League Redesigns (Originally 12/10/2003): The same day I colored this, I’d just bought a red Mercury-glass Christmas ornament for our tree. I didn't intend to blog so much about it except I felt a responsibility to bring the story home. Perhaps many people, especially Americans, could not relate to an event halfway around the world I thought.

Microcontentnews.com[Microcontentnews.com] Microcontent News, a Corante weblog: "Hopis are pueblo Indians," he explained. "They have lived next door to the same neighbors for a thousand years, so their reputation in the village is very important. Navajos are nomadic plains Indians who don't even think of themselves as having neighbors, so what others think is less important than what they think of themselves.
