Warning Others About Radar Traps - Legal?

[Bikes (Motorcycles) in the Fast Lane - Daily Motorcycle News] Here's a question I get often enough. It'sa known fact that in France when you see cars and motorcycles on the oppositelane flashing their lights, they are signaling an upcoming radar speedtrap.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

Vince Aut Morire[Vince Aut Morire] There's no white trash like Eurotrash: the French radartraps on the tollways at 245km/h. I'm fascinated, aren't you? How dashing, how daring... is French. The URL is in France (that's the ".fr" at the end there, Mr. Hun) and the trailer trash

Electricdeath.com[Electricdeath.com] [EED] Blog 521 - is your angel a.....road angel?: The first thing to understand here is that it doesnt detect things in some kind of radar way (well except for that thing sticking on my windscreen - more on that in a min hehe). Its a GPS device - you connect it up to your PC (serial port only - I'll have a word with him about that) and download all the co-ordinates of all GATSOs in the UK ). As you drive along it gives you your speed as per GPS, and in superb time via GPS positioning it starts flashing red and bleeping for every GATSO (and it only does it in the right direction - how does it do that?).

Day-tripper.nethttp://www.day-tripper.net [Day-tripper.net] The Channel Shopper, a newsletter / blog for www.day-tripper.net ...: The journey back to Chateaux d'Arc en Barrois was almost as per the route planner, only a few minutes out. Quite a few police motorcyclists along the way - seems they wait for the radar traps to indicate who is speeding before nabbing you. On the way down I noticed the police on a slip road with a radar machine (painted green, it must be impossible to see if you are driving by) with police motorcyclists a kilometer down the autoroute in wait.

Sciencenewsblog.comhttp://www.sciencenewsblog.com [Sciencenewsblog.com] Science News Blog * Science News and Trends *: Dr. Cecil Fox said, "Having spent some time with mycotic infections, I am startled to see that the Transportation Security Administration, who supposedly monitors airports, 'strongly' suggests that passengers remove their shoes while passing through the lines in American airports. The penalty for not doing so is an intimidating delay in which a total body scan for such contraband as glasses frames and wrist watches is conducted, whereupon you still are required to remove your shoes and to stand around on unkempt airport carpets while your shoes are X-rayed!"

Joi.ito.comhttp://joi.ito.com [Joi.ito.com] Joi Ito's Web: Sky-230DL Radar Detector with GPS: In the UK they have these new cameras that read your number plate at one point and record the time you passed it. Then in a mile they do it again and work out your average speed...

http://patfish.blogspot.com [Patfish.blogspot.com] The Kaitlyn Mae Book Blog: Finally, don’t forget the use of shift-F5 in MS-word. For when typing a document that might require a check of other data in the same document, it is only required to hit shift-F5 to return to the place in the document where originally at before having to leave. In fact, shift-F5 will take the user back to every place in the document where there was a pause.
